Discussion / Advance Grabit is literally worst than a normal Grabit

So I don't know if any of you guys remember me when I played on Trem, but the basilisk is my most favorite alien!  There is nothing more satisfying than surprising a human and watching them flail helplessly as they are slowly eaten to death because they cannot move or shoot you.

ofc, I've been playing a lot of grabit, which brings me to the title of this topic:

Is this intended or just an oversight?  Both the grabit and the advance grabit have 75 hp.  But the advance grabit is bigger and cannot fit into vents (in all maps I've seen so far).  The only thing that you really do by evolving to advance is become a bigger target.

Seems like there is no reason to evolve into an advance grabit except if you want to grabbit bomb > evolve advance gabbit for 2 fast bombs.  Why invest twice as many evos for a worst alien???  Also basilisk gas is weird, it doesn't gas where you aim, it always gasses in front of your character model.. Maybe this is how it was in trem too, but still not useful.

Edit: I believe advance basilisk had 100hp in trem.  Also I think the size thing is unfair, whats the point focusing on a small alien if you cant even fit in the vents.

One of the most infuriating things when playing aliens right now, especially in smaller maps like box field.

Suggestions for default settings (if these things are customizable)

1.   Rant charge/Grabit gas/narb zap should not deal damage to allies.  If not full immunity maybe half damage
2.   Increase booster range significantly, only one alien can use it at the time atm.  maybe healing too
3.   narb zap is useless.  The narb jump is all vertical, need some forward velocity
4.   Overmind/Reactor needs damage indicators, no idea if its low or not. 
5.   Default bp might be a bit too high
6.   Alien sense cannot tell between structure and human... Sniffing doesn't seem to make a difference
7.   Both aliens and humans really need to jump higher.  Grabit cannot even jump on a human's head like in Trem
8.  You should be able to kill the enemy RC or OM during sudden death... I'm not really sure why this is a thing.  Currently all you have to do to build a good base is hide everything behind your invincible RC/OM and survive till SD
9. Rant crush when you get on top of a human?  I don't remember if this was a thing in 1.1

It looks like to me GPP is completely dead.  I can never find anyone on.

I'm craving some tremulous right now, and it Murnatan still seems to have ways to go.  Any versions out there still being played?  1.1 maybe?

Hi Rotacak, hello Trem2 Community.  Since I know most of you will probably recognize who I am, I won't go into introductions right now.   I am definitely very interested in this project, because I love and grew up tremulous, but have not been very impressed with the progress other projects have been making.   Simply put, I am in "Shut up and take my money" mode.  I will definitely be trying this out with my e7 buddies when it becomes available.

Anyways, onto the suggestions.  I apologize if anything listed here is already covered elsewhere in the forums as I have not had the chance to look over everything yet.  Also to note, I am making these suggestions based on the 1.2 GPP version, so just ignore points that are not relevant.

Prophet's wishlist
-Hit-boxes:  Hit boxes in the game should no longer be boxes but reflect exactly what the model looks like.
-Make the luci jump more viable again (Increased knockback, decreased self damage)
-The temporary poison immunity to be reintroduced
-Bring back the hovel with strict entry and exit restrictions to prevent glitching.  The one granger sitting in the hovel will have their build timer count down twice as fast.
-Barricades will now be able to be built on walls and ceilings
-Advance Goons:  Sniping barbs no longer add poison
-Evolving: Aliens can now evolve anywhere within  creep/OM regardless of distance to enemy (Outside creep evolve restrictions remain the same)
-Sudden Death: The armory, medistation, and booster are rebuildable again.  Triple free evo/credit generation to promote rushes.

Other suggestions:
This is a bit out there, but I think it would be need to have a matchmaking system.  Kinda like a scrim finder for teams of 3s, 5s and 7s.  You would be able to queue up and find other teams to play against.  This could really get competitive play going and might even open up other additions like a ladder or a competitive circuit.
