1. All alien structures can be placed on any surface. OM on ceiling, egg on wall.
2. Consider standard starting base (both alien and human) on Karith. At the start of a match to put this base in any of the randomly selected "areas" of the map, like darkstairs, elevator room etc.
3. Make the trapper usable and not a waste of bp like now.

1. By default will be possible to build everything on walls and ceilings.
2. Various base locations will be able to defined everywhere.
3. That depends on gameplay testing.

1: Depends really, if the overmind is build on a wall, or on the ceiling, how about extra creep supporting the overmind, because the overmind is quite a heavy bastard?

2:So from what i understand - Random base locations (layouts)?
That's sweet!

3: Understandable, it's kinda underpowered now and never used, although well placed, it can be a pain in the legs.

What about the creep?
Can a granger place his "poo" there, and it will spread out?
Think of "map control"?

Any form of resource gatherers, like nalf's mod?
(Creep Colony / Refinery for BP's?)

1. Supporting egg would have no vissible effect for OM, so it could confuse players (you will kill egg and OM on the other side of wall will fall down)

2. Not exactly randnom, but you can define layouts and then randomly or exactly select one from them.

3. I am not sure how on 1.2, but on 1.1 it was used quite often.

It will be synchronized at beginning of every map. And you can turn off all these additional things on client, or on your server, if you don't like it.

You see only that we want to be rich. You don't see that we have to spend few milions CZK, work two years, then gather money back and then still pay for servers and another work due to updates etc. If you want everything free, then it will die like T1, because you simply cannot work for free forever.

-If you can't spend money [like me and lots of other people, like half the population of TF] you still can "accidentally" earn new weapons and stuff.
First of all, you don't need to spend any additional money in game. And you can earn all free items.


The "Official" Items you are talking about, are we need to pay for them...?
Some of them will be free, some no.

There will not be pay2win. You cannot buy anything (for money) that make you stronger.

We want to release game on various game-selling websites, they have various playment options.

Anti copy - you mean copy protection? Game will not be copy protected, you will have to log in to your account and that will allow you to play, if you bought the game.

grmg.pl: if you don't like hovel, you can deny it on your server. We wan't to make game very much customizable. So there should not happen something like "they added this feature, I don't like it, it ruining whole game", because you will be able to turn that feature off.

We still deciding what engine we will use, but it looks like we will take unreal engine 3.

We do not want to compete with NS2. We have own different goal (gameplay/graphic) than NS2.
